Ingredients
  

  • 1 –2 tbsp fresh lemon balm leaves or 1–2 tsp dried leaves
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • Optional enhancements:
  • Honey maple syrup, or stevia to taste
  • Lemon slice or zest
  • Fresh mint or chamomile flowers
  • Ginger slice or cinnamon stick

Instructions
 

  • Prep leaves: Gently rinse fresh lemon balm leaves (if using). Crush leaves slightly to release oils.
  • Steep: Place leaves in a mug or teapot. Pour boiling water over them. Cover and steep 5–10 mins (longer = stronger flavor).
  • Strain: Remove leaves. Add sweetener or extras if desired.
  • Serve: Enjoy hot, or chill for iced tea. Garnish with lemon or a fresh leaf.
