  • For the beef:
  • 1 lb ground beef 80/20 or ground turkey/chicken
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce optional
  • For the bowls:
  • 4 cups chopped romaine lettuce butter lettuce, or cauliflower rice
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • ½ cup diced pickles
  • ½ red onion thinly sliced
  • 1 avocado sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese or vegan cheese
  • Optional toppings: crispy bacon sautéed mushrooms, jalapeños
  • Burger Sauce:
  • ¼ cup mayo
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tsp pickle relish
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar

Instructions
 

  • Cook the beef: In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef, breaking it into crumbles. Add garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook until no pink remains. Drain excess fat if needed.
  • Make the sauce: Whisk together mayo, ketchup, mustard, relish, and vinegar.
  • Assemble bowls: Divide lettuce (or cauliflower rice) among 4 bowls. Top with beef, tomatoes, pickles, onion, avocado, cheese, and other toppings. Drizzle with sauce.
